Very friendly and helpful staff. They were very good with us with getting my Uncle settled in and looking after him. He's made new friends and is quite happy. We're kept fully informed on how things are going. Activities regularly take place for residents. The owners are in the process of adding new facilities for the benefit of the residents. Very pleased with the establishment.
Mum is always treated with respect and dignity and included in all decisions. Management are very responsive when contacted and resolve any minor concerns through discussion to reach a suitable outcome quickly. Staff are always friendly and welcome.
It was a very difficult and heartbreaking decision putting my wife in a nursing home after caring for her for many years with Lewy Body Dementia. My daughter and I were extremely anxious when we first arrived with her at the nursing home, you hear some dreadful stories of poor care in the News which makes the decision even more difficult. But our worries soon went after meeting the caring staff and the other residents. The staff are loving and attentive, there is a very positive, uplifting atmosphere at The Grange, it is not a sad place at all. Most importantly when I go home I don’t worry about her care, my wife is happy, content and safe at The Grange. We now spend quality time together during visits, these times are very precious to us both. I am more than happy to recommend The Grange Nursing Home in Saddington. My family and I appreciate the hardwork, care and dedication of all the staff to well being of the residents and us families, thank you.
I am extremely happy to recommend The Grange Nursing Home is Saddington. All the management and staff are happy, approachable and extremely caring. There is a very positive and welcoming atmosphere in the nursing home, lots of happy smiley faces. Visitors are free to pop in at anytime – no prior notice required. My mum is happy, safe and lovingly cared for at The Grange. She really enjoys the Saturday afternoon musical sing-a-long with the local band, a really wonderful time for residence, visitors and staff. It’s lovely to see staff dancing with the residence, the residence teaching staff a few of their classic moves. Thank you all at The Grange, you are very much appreciated, your hard work and care doesn’t go unnoticed.
Mum is well looked after, all her needs are met. The staff are very friendly and caring. There is good communication between myself and the management. I am very pleased with the level of care I know mum is in a safe, caring environment. On site hairdressing, optician, chiropodist etc. I highly recommend.
My mother was admitted to the Grange Care Home as an emergency placement as her dementia had become too difficult to manage at home. The staff at the Grange treated my mother with great care and dignity. They took every care to manage her challenging behaviour, trying to distract her with other activities such as walking around the room. When my mother wandered at night there was always someone to watch her. The care staff even put a mattress on the floor for her or allowed her to sleep in a chair when she refused to go to bed. Kirti Thakrar the care home owner took a personal interest in my mother and made a point of talking to me when I visited. She is a delightful lady who kept me updated by email. The Grange may not appear to be the most modern facility but the level of care could not be better. The kindness and personal interest of the carers is second to none.
I am writing this testimonial to thank all the staff at The Grange for the exemplary care they gave to my mother over the last 14 months of her life. Mum was not the easiest of residents in the early days but she was always treated with dignity, care and respect. The food cooked on the premises was the lasting joy and pleasure for mum and the meals were always delicious and nutritious. Nothing was too much trouble for Karen and her staff and mum regarded them as part of her extended family and for my sister and I this made the last few months easier for us, knowing how much and how well she was cared for. I am sure that it was only the amazing care given to mum that allowed us to share the last few peaceful weeks with her. Mum was always kept clean, warm and safe and for this I cannot praise the Grange highly enough and whenever we visited we were always made to feel welcome. We were kept well informed about mum’s health issues and all the appropriate actions were taken at all times and when any questions were asked they were always answered promptly and efficiently. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Grange for residential care of any relative and I shall always be grateful for the peace of mind the staff gave me when mum was in their professional care.
I can honestly say the care and kindness show to my Mum over the last year has been exemplary. It was obvious to to us that she saw many of the staff as family and knew in her last months and days that she would be looked after by people who were not just doing a job but genuinely liked her and cared for her unconditionally with dignity and respect. I would be happy to give a testimonial for The Grange whenever needed. It has been a blessing to us all.
My wife who has vascular dementia has been in the Grange for nearly two years and during this time has been very well looked after. Both the Management and Staff have a very caring and positive attitude and she could not be in a better place. Everyone is so kind and caring and I am reassured that she is in such a safe environment. Nothing is too much trouble and all her needs are catered for.
